Lime and NSCenter – New Dev in our WhiteD00r Team

Not so long ago, new developer, known as DyZee or VuBe posted about his new project – Lime. It’s faster Cydia alternative (yes, I don’t like Cydia speed on my iPhone 2G, too) coded from scratch and incredibly fast. And five days ago he showed us his new project – NSCenter. It’s his idea for Notification Center – now only app but his working on sliding animation (he got it worked on iOS4, but of course we’re waiting for iOS3 version ). Today DyZee is new feature developer in WhiteD00r team. Keep up good work buddy

Market for Whited00r [Updated]

Newsstand for Whited00r/Redd00r – Update by Soltmeal (video) – Seems not working

Today,one of our lead developers Sol Atencio (Soltmeal) gave out update on WDNewsstand.

Here is the topic on forums,you can find the download in the topic,as well as here is the link to download.

Don’t forget to report any bugs or your suggestions on the thread.

For those who don’t know how to install,here is a guide:

*Download the WDNewsstand.zip from here:http://www.mediafire.com/?65h5hvfhw915h7o
*Download i-FunBox from here: http://dl.i-funbox.com/ifunbox_en.zip
*Extract WDNewsstand.app folder from the ZIP file to your Desktop.
*Open I-FunBox and Connect your iPhone.
*Navigate to RawFileSystem> var/stash/application then drag and drop the WDNewsstand.app there.
*You will see the Newsstand folder after copying, Right Click on it>Click Permission> It will be written 0755, Select all the Numbers and Overwrite them with 0775.
*Respring
*Done

ONE OF COMMENTS WE RECEIVED BY A MEMBER NAMED FORGOTTENHERO :

It crashed for my 2g iPod but I went through ifile and noticed not all the files were set to the right permissions. If you change all of them it will work an not crash

try doing this and it might work!

Whited00r owner Mattewre working on making Whited00r legal?

While going throught tweets,I saw Whited00r owner and founder Matteo Morando (Mattewre) tweeting this :

I’m going to make whited00r legal.. I don’t know how much it will take to complete the tool to build the custom ipsw

From the pic,it looks like we are going to get an iPSW builder,so everyone could build their own firmwares with their own things?

Project HydraX – one more Whited00r copycat

While going through twitter,one of our Admins (FinkMac) told us that he have found a whited00r like project named HydraX.

FinkMac downloaded their firmware,and he tore it apart,and found that the firmware uses whited00r developer’s softwares-reminders by Soltmeal,iOS5lockinfo by RagingNinja- without their permission (another stealer).

So FinkMac told the news to each of the Moderators and Admins Along with Whited00r founder Mattewre and FinkMac also said that he is going to file a Report on that website for stealing softwares without permission.

WDiMessage may come a bit Late because of uploading problems – says developer

Hello there,

I am really sorry to say that we are late to relase WDiMessage,since some uploading problems on forums.

We are working on it (since we need some secure environment),But don’t worry,we are working hard to get it released.

This is what our developer (Soltmeal) said on Whited00r FB page :

The reason WdiMessage never got released is because I couldn’t post it to the forums due to an error I am trying to figure another way to distribute it. It’s not that I don’t want to release it.

I’ll post the news of its release ASAP after its release,so Keep up with us.

While checking out the Whited00r’s FB page,i found that one of our lead developers (Soltmeal – Sol Atencio) is ready to bring out WDiMessage by this Tuesday!

Check out what he exactly said :

WdiMessage will be out by Tuesday! Siri dictation, 4G/3G/Edge/Wifi messaging to others with the app around the world. Send texts to phones, and more!

So keep checking for the release of WDiMessage app,which will have free texting possible over all types of services!
