Try also running this in terminal:
Code: [Select]
su
alpine
chown -R mobile:mobile /var/mobile/Media/iTunes_Control/Media

That resets ownership on the folder.  I'm not sure what would cause it to suddenly break, it isn't a tweak, I know that much at least.

Try turning on "Album Artwork" in the advanced whited00r settings (pretty sure it is under daemons) and applying settings.

There is no "var/mobile/Media/iTunes_Control/Media". So I applied this to "var/mobile/Media/iTunes_Control" and "var/mobile/Media/iTunes_Control/Music". Didn't help.

I also turned Album Art on. Didn't help

Perhaps just trying it with only the "/var/mobile/Media/iTunes_Control" as the path instead of "/var/mobile/Media/iTunes_Control/Music", it shouldn't break anything doing that, and hopefully fixes the music too. :)  (I just had a look around for the files, and it seems there are more folders that could be relating to music there)

I'm really not sure, trying in recovery mode rules out any tweaks that could have conflicted with it, and running the commands you did in terminal should have fixed any permissions errors. Can you play any other sort of audio on the system, such as from a third party app like youtube?

Yes, youtube works fine. Only Music and Video apps crash

Can you install from Cydia both "syslogd to /var/log/syslogd" (just searching syslod will show the package), as well as "Crash Reporter" and then reboot after install.  Then, open up the music app and let it crash. After that, you should open up the Crash Reporter app, and look for "MobileMusicPlayer" or something similar name wise, and go into it.  Tap on the first item, and then find the syslod option.  Copy the text in there, and email it to yourself and paste it here so I can take a look at it :)
