Welcome to the forums :) its always nice to see new faces
I do look forward to IOS 8 and seeing that it supports the iPad two is a sigh of relief :P (well saying that I have the beta on my iPad right now :P )
Whereas I wasn't really updated on any new devices (if there where any but the event is still running..)

Sadly won't happen because none of the third party applications would be styled like that anymore, and would look horrible really with the rest of the OS again.  Developers won't make and design two different versions of the application just to let users indulge in a bit of nostalgia ;).  Even if the apps were not effected by the theme change over back to the old version, the experience would be horrible on the device, there would be no unity between the OS and the applications like there is in iOS 7.
