It is probably "/System/Library/LaunchDaemons", not "/Library/LaunchDaemons" :)

Alright, well, it is actually /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.openssh.sshd.plist, which is odd, I guess they are the only ones who put the daemon in that place on iOS that I know of.

Anyway, if it still gave an error for that one, double check the capitalization and spelling of everything, and try again.  If that fails, then good news, you don't have OpenSSH installed :)  (or if you do, it is broken and not running :P )

I would guess not!  You can check in Cydia of course to see for certain, if you are set up as a developer in Cydia (one of the options it gives you under Manage -> Settings), to show all packages in Cydia, then go to "Installed" to see if you can see OpenSSH :)

The battery drain should not be bad if you have used pushfixer, unless you have insomnia installed (which you said you don't) or something like that, I think there was something called "Keep Awake" in Cydia ages ago. :o

Any extra tweaks installed from Cydia?

Those aren't tweaks ;)  Those are either built in iPhone packages, or else sets of command line tools or libraries.  None of those can slow you down or drain battery (except possibly one that includes a daemon, but even that would be so minimal...).

Yes, whited00r does come with tweaks, but if you still have those issues even in safemode, then it would not be a tweak causing the issue.
You can test it out in safemode by running the following command in terminal:
Code: [Select]
killall -SEGV SpringBoard

Battery drain would be pretty bad for in-game on such old hardware, especially if you had the brightness up a lot. (or even midway I would think)

Heating up of the device can actually be caused by having the iPhone in direct sunlight, even my top of the line phones do that when in standby if I have them in sunlight when driving (not texting and driving! sitting on the passenger seat!).

However, on such old phones (and even newer ones), doing intensive usage of the device will cause it to heat up, and on an iPhone 3G, browsing lots of images (especially playing music at the same time, or with the brightness up more), will cause it to heat up slightly.  However, combining all 4 (sunlight, music, brightness up, heavy usage) is even worse for heating up the device.

That sort of discrepancy in safemode vs non safemode is expected with battery life. 3-4% change with the tweaks in whited00r (or any tweaks in general) is normal.  There is not much we can do, we balance features with battery life and speed as much as we possibly can, but on older hardware it impacts more (having SBSettings or winter board or other tweaks would really drain it a lot more).

In safemode the keyboard would be quicker and the device as well, although it shouldn't be by much, what apps is it laggy in when not in safemode?

Also, do you have service when in safemode?  That could be a big thing as to why the battery life was better, if it didn't have service.

I notice you have "push fix" installed, that is not the same as push fixer, and I do not think it works the same either, so I cannot vouch for if it achieves the same results as using the SAM activation method or using the push fixer whited00r provides.

I'm not sure what the push fixer in Cydia does, it could have conflicted with the push fixer from whited00r, or the built in fix for youtube certificates...   You uninstalled ultrasn0w, yes?

SAM method should not be needed if you have pushfixer now, it achieves the same result as far as I know.
