HI!
I have been using WD7 since long but when I upgraded the software to WD7.1 from the official website, I encountered several problems of which I couldn't find any solution  :-\

1- No APP MARKET or APP TIME MACHINE, only Appstore (which doesnt work)
2- WD tweaks dont work at all! (only some worked like control center with blur and etc but other animations wont work)
3- No Sara and Multitasking

Please help, I've updated the software TWICE while following each and every instruction! Previously I had WD7 with patch with no problems except crashing  ???

Edit by Bruan to provide more keywords in the title :)

Solution was to set up as a new device in iTunes after doing a fresh restore, rather than restoring from a backup. For getting data back from an iTunes backup, read the first page of the thread.

Hi!

1- In WD7.1 the app market was removed and the App Store Icon Opens the App Time Machine.
2-Did you restart after installation? The best thing to do is to wait 5 minutes after first boot then restart.
3- There are WD configuration settings in the settings app where you can turn these on.
Windows 8~~OSX 10.10 Yosemite~~Ubuntu 13.04
iPhone 5~~iPhone 4~~iPhone 3gs~~iPhone 2G
iPod Touch 5G~~iPod Touch 3G~iPod Touch 2G(MB,MC)

Welcome to the forums :)

1. As of Whited00r 7.1, the App Market is removed, and replaced on the homescreen by the App Time Machine (which has the App Store icon and label), and Cydia. You can still launch the original App Store from the App Time Machine though by searching for an app that does not exist there, it will ask if you want to open the App Store instead.

2. Did you restore from a backup when you restored to whited00r 7.1?  If so, that is a big no-no, and you will have to restore again setting up as a new device. If you need to back up your data and restore it afterwards, you can follow this tutorial:
[Tutorial] Backup Apps & Data BEFORE Upgrading iOS Firmware WD 7 3.1.3 4.1 4.2.1

3. Sara is disabled by default, and it really depends what sort of multitasking you are talking about. This could be explained by #2 above though if you didn't set up as a new device.

3- please tell the commands that I can use with sara
4- my iphone is now factory reset and I have made a backup of everything on my PC.  it had refused to sync my apps.  Now how do I copy contacts,  pics, and messages to my phone?

1. Follow the mini-tutorial in this post: Safari Options Missing From Settings App on WD7.1
2. It is laggy for everyone, same with the iOS 7 App Switcher. Nothing can be done about that :(
3. I really don't know, even I don't have the manual for it. It is still hit and miss what works and doesn't either way, even for commands that should work.
4. From a backup made on the computer via iTunes, or manually using the tutorial above?

I haven't been able to get much happening with Sara, but one surprising feature is opening apps. Say "open [app]" and it will open it! just like Siri

No worries, you can use the iPhone Backup Browser to get the information out, then manually put it back over via iTools :)
It is just quicker to do it manually first time around I find, because there may be some hoops to jump through first off.

(photos you probably just need to sync new though, through iTunes, but that is easy)

Is there any difference between iExplorer and iTools? Would iExplorer help me do that BACKUP thinggy?

I also wanted to ask if i copy all the stuff back, will it replace my present messages or no?

THANKS

edit: iTools isnt opening up my backup files...when i import, it doesnt show anything :( backup browser just gets stuck and nothing happens (i have windows 8.1)

Not really, I think iTools may be better though as it doesn't try and upsell you to a paid version.

Yes, if you copy things back it will overwrite any messages you currently have on the device.

iTools won't open the backup files, but the backup browser can extract them from the backup, which the files that are extracted can be be imported via iTools.
What version of iTunes do you have?

It may be easier to just restore the backup to the device, back up all the information off of it manually then, and do another restore and manually put the data back in, if the backup browser does not work for you :(

Hmmmm... It could be that the backup browser is no longer compatible with the latest iTunes versions, which is a bummer if true :(  What iTunes version do you have?

You probably will need to go through the other method I mentioned, with restoring the backup to the device and then backing up the data manually, restoring the iPhone to whited00r again, and then manually restoring the data you backed up.

Ah, so all good with all the data back but still set up as a new device? :)
I know it may be a longer route than restoring from a backup in iTunes, but it does avert many bugs that can't be fixed ;)
