I was running the  iOS 8 beta but it was buggy :P (honestly what did I expect :D )
But some of the new features are a home kit thingy where the family can share apps films and photos e.c.t with one payment on one credit / debit card (also you can "stalk" your family members)
And accessing contacts from the multitasking
And recently there is a new @3x png which is obviously for the iPhone 6 or the next iPhone which will be announced on September 9th which is probably the release date for iOS 8 as well.
I am waiting for the GM before updating to the beta as it won't be as buggy :P
There are many more features as well but I'm too lazy to post them as I am on my iPad...

Well that doesn't sound right... As windows and many other popular oses (both mobile and desktop) are coded in at least two languages.... And iOS is coded in 4 languages and windows in 3 so that would be very weird as different languages have strengths and weaknesses.
