As of 17 april 2015 iOS 3.1.3 built in YouTube player has stopped working.
Is there any fix or alternative?

They have updated the youtube api and in turn dropped support for the old youtube app.
The only current alternative is using safari.  :(

You can go to m.youtube.com on Safari, but it's laggy and there is some bugs...
And unfortunatly Opera Mini uses the YouTube native app API so you can't use it for YouTube...

I installed the skyfire app in 2014 and not play movies in www.animeflv.net
You skyfire app can view content of flash player? ???
I go to download the .ipa in google... And y try to view movies in m.youtube.com
You have the dropbox app? And you can help me?
Yes is yes you can download the Crunchyroll app from app time machine? And upload to dropbox? And the telegram app .ipa?
You can save the .ipa of apps for you computer with itools for windows and copy in the iphone in ssh with itools and uploaded the ipa to dropbox in the iphone.

I still use Safari for YouTube, but it's litteraly eating all my RAM and it crashes sometimes.
I tried to download ProTube Pro Cracked from Cydia, but the app craches on launch...

Hello, i found an alternative app for watching Youtube videos and it works very well. I found it from a user. The app that i'm talking about is MiniBrowser pro
If you want a Fast simple browser I would suggest Mini Browser or Mini browser pro its a simple fast browser and the latest version works fine on ios 3.1.3 it also plays youtube videos fine without lag.  ipa and appstore links: http://iapps-old.weebly.com
Just go to this link( http://iapps-old.weebly.com/downloads.html ) and you will find ios 3 compatible apps, there is the mini browser too. Just click on "download" and it will redirect you to a cracked version on AppStore, install and you can use it. You can watch easily Youtube videos in HQ and normal quality and works for all, in Safari you can watch only some of the videos because ios 3 don't have all video certs.
P.S. i was able to watch a google+ video on this browser too!!!
Hope i helped :)
