iTunes error 1600
« on: December 31, 2015, 10:51:24 AM »
Hello,
I have the same error of a lot of people :

iTunes: iTunes 12.3.2.35
iTunes: Restore error 1600

I tried with redsn0w 0.9.4 and redsn0w 0.9.14b2 included in Whited00r71-iPodTouch1G package.

My Apple device is iPod Touch 1G, can you help me ?

I tried a lot of tutorials in this forum and on the Internet, nothing works.
Thanks to help me

Regards,
Romain

You may need to downgrade your iTunes version to 11.05 to see if that helps with the restore, if more people are getting errors that aren't solved by the usual methods (that work, but most people don't follow the exact instructions on the install page).

It could be an iTunes update broke things like that :(

Best option would be to try with that version of iTunes, because then you can fall back to using iReb v5 or v6, as well as Redsn0w 0.9.14b2 and 0.9.5 for seeing which one works for PWNED DFU mode properly.   If those don't work, then something is wrong on your end, because the whited00r base firmware hasn't been updated since then so nothing has changed on our end :s

What method/tools (and versions of those tools) did you use to enter PWNED DFU mode with those iTunes versions?
