Restore to iOS 4.2.1
« on: March 24, 2011, 06:28:32 PM »
I have been running whited00r 4.3 full on my iPhone 3g for a while now and really like it.  However, I get bored quickly and wanted to restore my device to iOS 4.2.1 to play around with a few things.  But I keep getting "error 1611" each time.  I have tried putting the phone in DFU and using iREB.  Still no luck.  Has anyone else experienced this or have a solution for this?  Thank you and I look forward to reading any responses.

Not sure how or why, but problem is fixed.  Was originally working on windows based machine.  Plugged device into a Mac and it restored just fine.  Gonna play around a bit with something on ios 4 before i return to lovely Whited00r  :D .  oh, and hi p4sv9000.
