Ipod 2g or 1g??

How do i know difference? My friend has an ipod, non retina, and he has installed 4.2 on it. Thats all i know. He wants to install wd, but idk is it the 1g or 2g download for him?

1g goes to 3.1.3 max

now, i have heard that there is an ios4 based wd, is it any better than regular? (in terms of usage, we don'care about app support)

the iPT 2G has a 532 mHz processor so it should handle iOS 4.x fine :O

If its apple and no wallpaper or multitasking then its fine...but if its whited00r with wallpaper and multitasking then its aokay :D

Yes @Alavi. My friend has an iPod Touch 2G Running on iOS 4.2.1 (STOCK)

He has 230+ apps so it REALLY lags his iDevice. BUT..... it runs... OKAY. IF he would get rid of about 125 apps he would be doing 100% better.
