How to install Notified Pro on iOS3 (iOS5 like)

Table of contents
-Introduction-
-What's needed-
-How to-

Chapter 1: Installing Notified Pro

1.Introduction
So, I basically received a few messages asking me how to install Notified Pro on iOS3 (Yes, it is supposed to run on iOS4). Sorry for the late tutorial, but I couldn't go on my computer due my exams ;) Anyway, let's stop talking and here we go!

2.What's needed
-A computer (MAC OS X or Windows, it doesn't really matter)
-i-FunBox (Windows) or iPhone Explorer (MAC OS X) or w/e other way you have to acces to your iDevice
-A jailbroken iDevice running iOS3
-Mobile Terminal
-The needed deb (Notified Pro)
-Activator installed on your iDevice

3.How to
Okay, let's start the fun part, installing it!

1.First of all be sure you have everything in the how to list. If you don't have everything you won't be able to continue the "how to" further.

2.Now, once you downloaded everything, we may begin. Open iPhone Explorer/i-FunBox and go to /var/mobile/.

3.Paste the Notified Pro deb in /var/mobile/.

4.Time to hop to your iDevice! Open Terminal and login as root. To do that, type "su" and it will ask you for your password, the default password is "alpine". You are now logged in as root.

5.Now, you will need to type
Code: [Select]
dpkg -i NotifiedPro.debThen press return and the deb should install.

6.Respring your device and the deb should be installed. Now open settings and go to the activator setting. Tap anywhere and then scroll down untill you see the "Status Bar" section. Tap on "Swipe Down" and assign the gesture to Notified.
NOTE: Don't choose the app all the way down but choose the "Notified" on the top.

7.Now swipe your finger down from the status bar and Notified should scroll down.

Chapter 2:Solving dependency problems

1.USE THIS ONLY IF CYDIA FORCES YOU TO UNINSTALL NOTIFIED PRO! If you don't have this problem, directly go to Chapter 3.

2.Open iPhone Explorer/i-FunBox (or w/e) and go to /var/lib/dpkg/ and edit the "status" file.

3.Search for the line where you see "Notified pro" and delete the "depends" line.

4.Cydia won't force you again to delete Notified now.

Chapter 3: Adding the plugins

1.Ok, you got it all installed now but, there's something missing to make it look even more awesome, THE PLUGINS! First of all, open Cydia.

2.Once opened, download "Notification Bar" and "StatusBar Notifications for Notified"

4.Respring and you're done.

5.If you again have the dependency problem (Cydia Forces you to delete it), just use the guide in chapter two but instead of searching for "Notified Pro" you'll search for "Notification Bar" etc.

I hope this "How to" helped ;)

Also, I'm not sure if I need the plugins for this but Notified isn't showing up in Activator. It is as a system application but not at the top.

It still isn't an option.
