usually a "1600" error... and I've used iReb too. but should i try a clean restore first? cuz right now i'm trying to restore with a custom ipsw(from pwnage tool)?

Use redsn0w to boot to pwned DFU mode.

nevermind i finally got it to restore back! but I had to restore to 4.1 and then from there restore to 4.2.1!  ;D :)

im tried using the update for my ipod touch 1g, at first i got a 1604 error, when i re-installed it i am now getting a 1600 error.

Try iReb (Windows ONLY)
