iPhone 3g whited00r 3.1.3 network searching

my iphone 3g was on firmware 4.2.1. I found whited00r and decided to install the iOS 4 version and everything went smoothly. I then decided i didnt like how slow my phone was and downgraded it to 3.1.2, used iReb to put it into a recovery state and installed whited00r 3.1.3.
The installation went sucessfully, but now when i insert my sim card it constantly says searching... where my carrier should be.

is this a problem when downgrading or can it be fixed?

update to 313 then install wd, wd does not support 312

no i dont need an unlock, and ill try 3.1.3 now

i installed 3.1.3 and then installed the unlocked version of WD. (even though i dont need it).
and i still get searching...

im going to attempt to install 4.2.1 jailbreak with sn0wbreeze. use iReb then install 3.1.3 WD

In the end i fixed it...

I downloaded Apple iPhone 3G 4.2.1 Firmware.

Used iReb to put my phone in a recovery state

Recovered using shift + click and 4.2.1 firmware

Waited until that was finished

used snowbreeze on 4.2.1 firmware

used iReb to put the phone into a recovery state

used shift + click to restore using the 4.2.1 snowbreeze firmware

then used iReb again to put the phone in a recovery state

shift + clicked and used the 3.1.3 white door (non unlocked)  firmware

the only thing u had to do was download the normal firmware you dont jailbreak for wd, wd does it for u

yeah but on the download page it says for iphone 3g users encounter less problems when its jailbroken using snowbreeze

It might give you errors though  or it might work
