iPhone 2G Locked

I have a previously jail broken 2G iPhone. I installed Whited00r not remembering I should have used the Unlocked version. Now the phone is locked and can't even have itunes recognize it as a legit phone (need a US SIM). So what are my options?

you could hacktivated it with redsn0w..then install SAMprefs and ultrasn0w.

Like finkmac said. You either resore to the unlocked one or hacktivate it and use SAm.
I think your problem is that your iphone needs to be activated through itunes, so you coem to your homescreen, is this right or wrong? Is it only possible to make emergency calls?
