I have been using WD 4.4.1 on an iPhone 2G for about a week now.  As far as I can tell the Video toggle in the camera app just disables the camera app.  You can take videos with the provided Cycorder but need to sign on as root to move the videos to the Photo folder with ./VideoMover.  The VideoMover script is not automatic.

Has anyone created an app that would launch ./VideoMover from the springboard as described in http://a-common-hades.blogspot.com/2009/10/launching-scripts-from-springboard-icon.html  ?
