I also have an idea for that. namely iCloud.
What do one needs:
1. A server
2. every whited00r user needs an id (e.g. e-mail address)
3. A database of valid apps in categories like
 ALL | iOS4+
4. ipas named like their app folders

Then i would be able to write a feature for icloud so it knows what apps you have installed if you  have another deive with my icloud it would be possible to automatically install it on that device too.

But i guees that are more or less dreams...

Of sorts.  It can bypass Cydia's need to reload/reinstall packages just for a simple image update and such.   I have an already partially working dependency system, as well as code bits for installing apps via shell :)

This will also be a center to download my versions of whited00r in .deb form when I get around to making them :P

It will dynamically build itself as well, for my future apps/other peoples apps and such.

Ok I downloaded all the top 200 free apps that still support ios3, including ones I dont need, want or probably nobody using whited00r wants (*cough**cough* Pretty Pet Pony *cough**cough*). Now we just have to wait for them to drop ios3 support.
