iPhone completely dead!
« on: December 13, 2011, 10:26:11 PM »
Hi, I have major problems!!

First I downloaded Unlocker for iPhone 3G about two days ago. It worked pretty good except that I couldn't get any signal at all. Then I hooked it up to the computer and iTunes prompted me to update and foolishly I accepted. Then i crashed and has been in recovery mode since.

I get this:

Then I try to restore, both tried to restore with and without Whited00r. Neither works!! I've tried googling and even tried to delete some files in iTunes, restarted the computer, downloaded a new iTunes etc. Nothing works!! I get this error that iTunes is unable to restore it!

Please help, my life without the iPhone is terrible.

What exactly is it doing? Does it even start the restore process? Can you turn your iPhone off with a hard reset? Also, try putting your device into DFU mode.

Only reason it wouldnt restore would be if you unlocked it with an iPad baseband. I don't have an iPhone but I've heard about it before.

It starts the restore process and almost finishes it when I restore normally. It doesn't go very far when I restore it with whited00r. Yes, I can turn it off with a hard reset. OK, I'll try the DFU mode. Someone also told me to use IREB.

I doubt that I unlocked it with an iPad baseband, in the text document that was with the whited00r file I downloaded says:
