Getting Siri-like functionality running on older iDevices
« on: December 13, 2011, 11:14:32 PM »
I'm developing software with Siri-like functionality just for fun, and it has the potential to be utilised by an iOS app, or in fact, any other platform. Sound interesting or not? The main component is in the early stages of development and I have mapped out how it will work. Just so you guys know, I'm very experienced in software development and have been doing all sorts of programming stuff for ~5/6 years.

If I get enough interest from you guys and enough personal enthusiasm and time to complete this project, I would consider making an iPhone app to take advantage of it and bring Siri-like functionality to older iDevices.

Also, if I complete the basic components of this software, would anyone be interested in developing extensions for it to add your own custom features?

This is really just a personal project I may or may not complete and is intended to just test my software development skills, so nothing is guaranteed, but I'd like to hear what you guys think!

Please ask if you'd like more info on anything.
