(SOLVED) contacts name problem
« on: December 17, 2011, 09:19:23 AM »
I have a specific problem with my iPhone 3G whited00r 5. i live in PAKISTAN and I have a contact from another country UK. The contact is stored as '+44 123456790'. But whenever call comes it shows only a number like '44123456790' and hence this number does not match with contact name in contact list so only number is shown instead of contact name.
even my local contacts came with country code it will not show names, if i save them with +92 333 544XXXXX then i get call with name but sms will not show name strange problem
i read already all these report couldn't find smiler problem, can i fix this ?

sorry bro, never felt this problem personally..

btw can you see if restoring to the same firmware again can work or not?

The Whited00r Team needs to buy iPods 1G/2G & iPhones 2G/3G for testing WD 6.1 Beta, Apps & Features. We need your help to keep WD Free.

i restored it already with same version since it doesn't recognize the number so i can't get it, and i think  whited00r firmware is good for those who are using it locally not international,

cos whited00r is faster than original that's why i kept this, i hope to get fixed this problem in next update :)

you're from indian and you're running 4.3.1 that's why no problem,
this problem is only in 3.1.3 WD5 and hope to get it fix in next upcoming stable version :)

then rename the contact into 441234567889 instead of +44 123456789
