questions regarding changing app icon images.

first. can it be done? can i manually change my app icon images?

ive done some search but no clear answer. some say yes some say now. some say only 3rd party apps and no native apps. some say all.

so whited00r community whats your take?

You change the name by editing the info.plist file (usually.)

so yes to both means, yes the icons can be change to native and 3rd apps?

and so i can just change the .png? i have to do something else?

You change the name by editing the info.plist file (usually.)

i dont want to change the name just the icon image.

Same concept. Go to /private/var/mobile/Applications, then find the application to which you want to switch the icons. Find the icon.png and swap it out with the icon you want.
