« on: February 13, 2012, 01:01:06 PM »
I know you are going to say that some one has found a way to Port PhotoBooth but you can only see four effects. So heres the tutorial
Requirments
iOS 5.0.1 or 5.0
Jailbroken Device
Devices This works for
iPod Touch 4G
iPhone 4s
iPhone 4
iPhone 3GS
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Step 1: Download the following files from these links
http://db.tt/MHdvBxvT
http://db.tt/tiOkVDOp
these are the PhotoBooth files
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Step 2: copy the PhotoBooth.app file to the Applications folder on your device. You will also have to have ssh and change the permissions to 775 and apply recruisivley
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Step 3 copy PhotoBooth effects.framework to System/Library/Private Frameworks
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Step 4: respiring your device and thats it it should work
----------------------------------------------------------------------
File credits go to deyankou on youtube and Twitter: @appled3v user
How ever one issue is that you can only see 4 effects some how i will need to downsize it and there is no prossecor issue like many people think you just need the right files.Thats about it so if you need any help post a reply thanks.

Hey, I just tried this, but then realized i already updated to 5.1.1, so the photo booth app just crashes on me..Is this because i'm on iOS 5.1.1 now? What dir would I find logs to help me or anyone out here?

Anyways, followed directions exactly, though I found it funny that the photo booth effects framework was already there, I guess because I tried to run it without the folder once before, or like the above two posts, it doesn't matter?

Either way, would be cool to get it at least running on the iOS 5.1.1, but don't have access to an iPad here, so I can't copy and paste. Anyone have the newest iPhoto app, or know a way to get around it on 5.1.1?
