i think barely any developers in our team could do mobile substrate
but we (soltmeal, realblack, fink, brian) could do a lot of apps, scripts for mobile terminal, and other stuff

It's a nice idea and very possible to do. I would have a go at this but I've got too much going on right now sorry :(

I'm not 100% on substrates but seeing as they provide mechanisms to override practically everything the SpringBoard does I see no reason why notifications can't be overridden to display a fold out box like in iOS 5, or just play a sound to let you know something's happened.

When you write a substrate you basically just specify a new function to override the old function. You would get passed the same info such as the receiving app, the title text and the message text, then you just save all that info to a notification inbox which gets removed from the inbox when viewed/clicked on.

@tastycorn people are waiting and expecting (probably doubting too) from your siri project so why don't you go a head and finish that first and then worry about other stuff later

That's what I'm doing. For the doubters I'm sending a copy of it to Soltmeal and iShubham very very soon.

Anyways let's not turn this into discussion about that, this is a nice creative idea and I really hope someone helps out with it. If not I may message Ramo1995 about it after all the major work on my project is done.
