LogoMii GUI

LogoMii GUI

GUI tool.  Needs Ch40s-Utilities to work.

Download logos from Cydia.  Then allow access for it when it asks for it, otherwise it won't run ;) it will ask (twice) the first time you run it.  Allow it both times, and it won't ask again. (This is a safety feature of Ch40s-Utilities.).

Open the app up, and then simply tap on "Logos" and then choose your logo. Wait a bit, and a popup will appear, telling you it is being set.  Then it will tell you success, and then it will have some donate popup (yeah, it could get annoying, but it is free ;) I might remove it later on), and then the setting logo popup again. Just hit ok to all of those (no, hitting ok to the donate one will not donate to me ;) it just dismisses the popup. if you do want to donate, click the donate button in the app.   For every time you press a button, you will need to close/reopen the app though... (Safety feature of Ch40s-Utilities.).   It might take a while for something to happen, just give it a minute or two.  If after 5 minutes, nothing happens, then ask for help :P

Comment telling me how it went!

Ok, reinstall ch40s-utilities from the updated link (yes, it looks nearly the same as the other :P)
then install this, and it might work, or might not work.  It depends on the DevFB stability...  It worked for me once, and then I did something and idk what :P

That DevFB version is *extremely* outdated. I'd be surprised if it worked on iOS5.
I may update it in the future, if I find the time to do so.

Oh,  I'm not using it for iOS 5. It's for 3.1.3 to 4.2.1 I think...

Login as root then just type in...
Code: [Select]
logomiiand you will be able to select the logo you want from there.
Remember you must install logomii first so once you put the file in var/mobile just go into terminal and type...
Code: [Select]
su
alpine
dpkg -i logomiifilename.deb
You must change the name of the deb to be exactly as it is. I usually change the name to something easy like logomii.

For anyone using it, of the two-ish downloads, could you please tell me if it works?  Because it actually isn't for me, but it should be ;)  I might have just screwed something up on my device though... which is what I need to know ;)

He was just trying to help...  and
,on topic, did you copy the file over to your device by ssh?  And then try?

That was not off topic. He was trying to help just like I did in my previous post. You are supposed to move the .deb file from the download to the var/mobile directory. I suggest renaming it to something easy, then try doing the dpkg in terminal. If that still doesn't work, then do...
Code: [Select]
su
alpine
dpkg -i var/mobile/logomiifilename.deb
If that doesn't work then something is surely wrong.
