Ok, get the new version via the link updated in the original post, and then place it in /var/mobile (overwriting any older version).

Then as root, run
*dpkg -r com.bcooperizcool.logomii*

and then
*dpkg -i LogoMii.deb*

and you should be good to go :)
and the OTA should also work now in it :)  (for future updates).

I followed everything exactly, everything worked in terminal. I did a respring, then went into logomii and set the arc reacter bootlogo. I restarted my phone and got the default bootlogo  :(

DevFB seems hit and miss with devices :( i don't know why.   Did it give you any popups or anything?
Try running as root in terminal

*/Library/LogoMii/main LogoName*  where "LogoName" is the name of the boot logo exactly.   Then take a screen shot of the output.   It should give you some popups and whatnot. Sorry it seems to be giving you issues :/

Then I'm thinking it's DevFB unfortunately :/ which I don't know anything about or how to fix :( did this ever actually work for you? Any version of logomii? I did not make DevFB.  I just made the logo chooser which passes the information down to DevFB. (and renames a few images because of how DevFB works rather than the normal iOS 4 way of doing things )

Yeah,  that's DevFB :( i don't know why it works for some people but not for others :/ it worked a bit for me, and then broke again, but I didn't do anything :'( so I don't know.   I'm sorry :/  i would think I'm using DevFB wrong, but seeing it works for others fine, I don't know :/ because if I was doing it wrong it shouldn't be working for them I would think :/

Thank you for being willing to try it anyway, and going along with my debugging :) I'm happy to hear at least my part of the code works ;) but I am sorry the DevFB doesn't :(
