Upgrading to 5.2 whited00r (?)
« on: June 25, 2012, 11:02:28 AM »
Hi, I have a doubt, having already mounted whited00r 5.0 (I think.) On my iPhone 3G I wanted to upgrade to the latest version of Whited00r, you can do this without losing data and letting the iPhone immaculate?

Or, if you tell me how to do EVERYTHING to save without losing anything?

Should I upgrade or leave the current version?

WD 5.2 is much better so you should upgrade

There is lots of things to backup

Like app data :
You can backup them with icloud app in your springboard or if you don't have it install datadeposit from cydia and backup to your Dropbox

For SMS and call history you need to ssh to your iPhone to this
/private/var/mobile/Library/SMS
/private/var/mobile/Library/callhistory

And backup sms.db and call_history.db

And make sure when you paste them again. That the permissions are the same as before

That is it

Something is wrong. I cant restore back to 3.1.3. I downgraded my baseband to 5.13.04 from 6.15.00. Now when i restore back to stock 3.1.3 i get the error 1015. So i can then use recboot to exit. It works, but then i cant jb because pwnage tool and redsn0w wont recognize that i'm using the correct firmware....

What whited00r changes from 5.0 to 5.2?

Lots of things it depends on what you have in your WD 5.0
Because it has been improved alot
