Optimizing Springboard and other ios png images!
« on: August 06, 2012, 05:54:08 PM »
This was made on iOS 4.2.1 on a iPhone 3G. For use a different firmware the names may need to be changed!!!

This is to gain back ram and system space.

First Release is the springboard batteries. Comes with Readme. http://www.4shared.com/zip/sCcm-j9g/Battery.html?refurl=d1url

http://wd-cdn.dragon-dev.co.uk/tweaks/Battery+Old.zip

They look identical to the originals with about 10 kb less per image.

What? u call this developing? why did u put this into the Amateur dev? gonna change it into HOW-TO now.. cuz its a modification iOS not Developing..

Ok Buddy calm down it was just a mistake.

Also it should work on all firmwares as it is just the batteries.

Also here is the lock screen pads - http://www.4shared.com/zip/o-5C2MWu/Lock_Screen_Buttons.html?refurl=d1url

And the originals - http://www.4shared.com/zip/CVzUY-0t/Lock_Screen_Buttons_Old.html?refurl=d1url

This topic belongs in the "Amateur dev" section...

But isn't this pointless? Apple already optimized the iOS images. All of them.
