Isn't the Nitrous Engine thing for iOS 5+ ? I find that Opera is really smooth. Dolphin is a close second imho.

Dolphin is kinda bad - on my 3G drawing gestures doesn't work (app crashes) and it looks terrible because of OpenGL ES 2.0 Faking ;)

Dolphin is great on new devices but laggy and buggy on older ones...

I had Safari, Atomic, dolphin, skyfire and opera mini installed but excluding opera mini because of how this browser loads pages differently and not having video support like Safari and others after doing some tests (everything like cache and that cleared of course) the fastest of the four is Atomic! Safari coming second then Dolphin then the slowest Skyfire (but love this browser due to its superior video compatiability) Atomic just wow a great alternative to Safari browser in terms of speed and features loving the ad block and other freaking awesome features i recommend people try Atomic browser :)

opera mini
Opera Mini is not really a browser its more like a client like skyfire, if the servers are down the app is useless, its more like a client that sends request to the opera servers and it goes on that site and sends a image back to the client with the links and pictures for easy viewing and its fast becosue the servers does all the work not your devices thats why safari and other browsers take longer then using opera mini and why it takes alot of processing power to load sites becosue the device is doing the work, and I prefer Safari becosue its fast and works and displays sites well it does lag but it has to do with the sites your on and how much is being displayed on it.

Is there a way to make Opera download links? I'm on 3G with 4.2.1 and Opera 7 switches to Safari everytime I click on a downloadable link. I've tried searching for something like Safari download manager for Opera but no go...

Thanks.

^ You could try holding the downloadable link until this little black box appears and press 'Save As' i think, or you could maybe check out the cydia tweak 'browser changer' not sure if it's called like that forgot :/

e1sunz thanks for replying. That's what I can't figure out, there's only 'open in new tab' and 'select text' when I hold it...
