Which base is best for redd00r?
« on: August 20, 2012, 05:53:04 AM »
sooooo, ive found that the 4.1 FW is faster than 4.2.1.
Now,using the red00r CFW i get conflictions between the CFW and mobile substrate. (another topic).
Which brings me to the point, can i apply the redd00r base to a redsn0w jailbroken ios 4.1?
Or is Redd00r strictly ios 4.2.1?

The redd00r base firmware for iphone 3g is technically ios4.1, it is the only way to get redd00r on 4.1 currently....

Currently no, however full support will be added in the next update, in the meantime it is possible to "hack" it onto 4.1, (untested and unsupported)

Applepie when will the update come and when you say full support you mean all ios 4 firmwares or just 4.1 and 4.2.1

Prolly just 4.1. Why would I want to support 4.0?

ipod 2g can use 4.2.1 with multitasking without lines. No need for 4.1 (its slower)
