RD Settings can't apply.
« on: October 19, 2012, 11:51:14 AM »
Hey there guys. I'm on RD iOS 4.2.1 iPod based firmware on my iPod Touch 2G MB model. I can't seem to apply the RD settings anymore. It just doesn't resprings. Nothing changed even if I respringed another way either. I already updated Ch40-utilities to the latest version. :( but I did remember running "Ch40s-Launcher -c NoBoostRun -o Enable -p DoNotDisturb" in terminal to fix the iOS 6 DoNotDisturb tweak by bcooperizcool.

Yeah the new version has new code. So stuff that uses the old code has to be updated. I am working on the update, meanwhile you should uninstall redd00r and ch40s utils and reinstall the ones from my repo until it is updated. Sorry :/

Exactly what benben said ;)   I don't release it, I just help out when needed ;)  and I can say from what I have heard (not much admittedly), and what I have improved in my code (a lot, but it's mainly back end stuff you won't notice aside from fixing some memory leaks and speeding up execution of stuff) .

No clue if that was my utilities or not ;) It should have, if it was caused by them. Otherwise, I don't know.

Push notifications is what eats your battery. I turn them off at night and turn them on in the morning. I also use a cydia tweak called power manager, it lets you change your processor clock speed.

By faster he means faster applying settings and faster ch40s utilities, this *may* make redd00r faster as some said ch40s utils was causing lag but that's super unlikely. There isn't much that can be done to speed it up further
