Hi, I just installed Archetype and I am having a few problems.

1. When I change the theme to "iOS 6", it resprings, but when i go back to settings its goes back to "none".
2. When I go to the App Store, when I click on a app, it loads and loads but nothing comes up.

Welcome to the forums :)

1. That is normal because of how Ch40s-Launcher works, don't worry about it. The theme is applied :)
2. Try enabling App Update Checks under the configurator and applying settings and I think that may fix that issue :)

Thanks :D,

Okay, so to apply the settings, I have to click finish, and then click apply? Its still not working.

Also, under configuration, do I have to enable any of the settings there? Such as multitasking? Cause all of it its off but multitasking still works.

Yes, turn everything on.  If it doesn't apply, close out of the settings app, and make sure it is closed out of multitasking too. Then open it up again, and right away go to the Configurator and press Apply.

As for the firmware faker, it won't actually let you use stuff that requires a higher firmware, or even show up in the settings app.  It's an internal change that is only really there for show.

this is probably a dumb question, but does archetype allow you to download apps that require a higher ios than 4.2.1? or is it just for themes and tweaks

It only gives custom features, no complex frameworks port (probably will never happens), so no, no higher firmware apps/tweaks/themes

What device and iOS did you install it on, and did it crash during install or did you close it before you saw the respring/return to cydia button?  If not, then you can simply remove of via cydoa, making sure to do the same as you did for install and just leave it ;)   if it boots up normally its no worry.
