It's ok :( you already worked hard for us and you do every possible efforts :) I promise if I manage to get money I'll donate for you a bit because you really deserve for your work :( without you, our old devices would just be that, OLD. THANK YOU SO MUCH :)

Much appreciated :)

You need someone to work with you... ;D

Oh but it's never been about having it out there, it was about me stretching what I can do and learning :)  I'm doing that more so now, but it's in obj-c and in stuff that I really should be paid to do ;)  So I'm doing that, and releasing stuff in Cydia.  If I do ever have time I'm sure I'll pick this up again though :)

I think this project is more than what you think, people like to customize their devices easily :p right now this is the only project that supports any armv7 devices(resurrection is gone from the net :p)

I think it really worth some attention, and instead of working on my own for something "such" I'm offering you my help.
It's not like we don't know each other, we code together since a year now ;D

Just a proposal mate, 2 heads are better than one.

The configurator in Whited00r 7 is better than the one in this as of now anyway ;) Sure it doesn't support all the iOS versions, but GUI wise and even some backend code, it's better.

In the state it's in, it's not even fully put together, and only I can put it up to what it needs to be to be worked on by other people, as part of the stuff is only in my head right now too ;) I don't have the time right now to even fix it up and finish the update for it that's been sitting for months :(

Not the same way (which is good and bad, good, because you will make things differently, bad, because archetype is built very specifically) ;)  I still have a few brilliant tricks up my sleeve waiting to be put out :)

I really love this on my ipod 2g! while i used to use ifile to enable everything, i can just now use archetype, and it's even faster!  :D

Just gotta figure out how to get battery percentage.  :(
You see this dog? Yeah, she's my cute dog. (☞゚∀゚)☞

Glad you like it! :)
I think this enables the option under Settings -> General -> Usage for that :o  BTW, this is kinda old and using my old hackey backend launcher I made before I learned obj-c...  So a little slower to execute stuff and not as fancy :(  Also, I wouldn't use this with WD7 by the way... Or iOS 7 either :p

Eh, after many failed attempts with downgrading my iPod to 3.1.3, I'm fine with archetype. :P Springboard and safari may be a bit slow, but I'm fine.

I will admit I did have to go exploring in ifile a bit to fix multitasking, as it needed opringles-2 in there as well or else the iPod resprings into safe mode, but besides that, I didn't have to mess with a thing so far! ;)
(However, I think I need to poke around with ifile again if I want a battery percentage, there is no usage tab there if I click general.)

Oh, wonder why it failed downgrading :o  Anyway, yeah iOS 4 is kind of slow, but usable.  You could also have tried out ressurection, by revialdev, as that uses an obj-c frontend so no backend launcher needed :)

Ah I know, I forgot to put that one in for enabling it properly, sorry about that :(
Oh, battery percentage is easy enough, it has to do with the gas-gauge-battery key in the system plist of features.

It's ok, Just might want to put that small waning out to others who encounter the same problem as me. ;)

As for battery, I'll check in ifile shortly and report back how it goes.

Maybe in the first post I will, in the package, not so much.  I haven't updated this for nearly a year, although I do have some partly done upgrades somewhere, which converts it to obj-c and a couple other things.  I pretty much got caught up in helping out with all the whited00r things (Whited00r Settings is a super advanced configurator, basically what I had in mind for archetype in the long run, although now it won't get it because whited00r has it :P ), so I never had a chance to finish up that.  Now I have to do things like an adult and don't have much free time to work on things like archetype :(  It was really only ever a project designed to push what I could do in my learning, which it did.  Now my pushing my learning is in obj-c, and I can make tweaks and design things and such, and actually sell that stuff (which I sadly have to do).  Maybe someday I will get the motivation to work more on archetype, but not in the near future that I can see :(
