Will there be apple maps instead of google maps? If so, why? ;)

Nevertheless, I'm pretty excited. But I will wait until someone can tell me how fast/smooth it performs in comparison with 5.2.1.

I dont think Apple Maps would be there. The icon would be there tho :P
Cos Google Maps is an Open Sourced map and apple map is private. so i think theres all these issues and can get u sued over it.
I dunno... maybe not.

EDIT: OH WAITTT... NOBITAZZZ, the SARA dev, made a Maps App. It looks like Apple Maps and stuff with all the Turn by Turn features and everything. But its Google Maps. cos Apple Maps is still buggy and glitchy. In Australia here, the police warned people not to use it cos it took people into a national park and not to the destination which was a city... 80 miles away...

Oh yes. Hi.
I see you've noticed this Signature. Well, all I can tell you is that there's nothing to see here.
Yes, there is nothing interesting here. Just keep scrolling and we'll pretend nothing happened.

Please Make whited00r IOS 3.1.3 Base Info Clear & Obvious
« Reply #17 on: December 12, 2012, 12:43:58 AM »
Thank you for the great work in supporting our old devices!  8)

To avoid endless questions about the IOS version and compatible apps and users' dissapointment, please make it clear & obvious right off the bat on the Whited00r 6 launch/announcement and downloads pages why it's based on IOS 3.1.3.

Explain briefly and clearly the hardware limitations of older iDevice and the FACT that Apple decided to drop support for their older devices starting with IOS 4.3. There are very good reasons and advantages for basing Whited00r on 3.1.3, just explain on the download page, in bold and whatnot. It could be on a landing page when clicking Download that forces you to spend a few seconds on it before proceeding to the download itself.
_______________________

Hardware limitations For example: why does the iPhone 3GS can run IOS 4.3 and up (including apps that requires 4.3 and up) and the iPhone 3G cannot? The 3GS has a significantly faster processor (600 MHz up from 412 MHz, with a dramatically improved graphics processor as well: graphics capability OpenGL ES 2.0 vs. OpenGL ES 1.1) and twice the RAM (memory available to run both apps and IOS: 256 MB up from 128 MB).

(UTC-06:00) Central America so it will be available @ 6h am my time. I'll be sleeping... hopefully. The countdown clock tells you how much time you have to wait, where ever you live.

Meanwhile I suggest a relaxing tea like chamomile or Costa Rican Rum which I'm drinking neat @ the present.
