Sorry, I do not understand "when you put it into recovery mode is stunned":o

You need to describe your problem exactly or we cannot help you.

Maybe you could explain differently or use http://translate.google.com/ and type in your language and post it here or ask a friend that masters the English language a little better maybe?  ;)

Or post a screen capture of the iTunes error?

Did you read (or machine translated) this:

Curious, what is your native language?

I'm not sure what his exact problem was, but I'm having something similar. Once I start the update in iTunes, it gets to 'Preparing iPod for Restore', hangs for about 5 minutes, and then gives the error 'Can not update iPod software (1604)'. It then gets locked in DFU mode, and the only way I can get out of it is to install the Apple version (3.1.3). I've done WD4 before w/o a problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

I guess you did not RTFM;)

Because in the must read whited00r Tutorial - Installation there is a link to whited00r Tutorial - Solve Installation Errors where you can read:

Useful Tools

Get here the most useful tools for whited00r users.

Blackra1n
Blackra1n is the best tool to Jailbreak 3.1.2 firmware. You could need it in case of downgrade. If you get 16xx errors when you try to install Whited00r, please downgrade to 3.1.2 and jailbreak with Blackra1n. After this, try again to install Whited00r.

After 16xx problems with whited00r 6 installation via both my iMac and Macbook Air, for my iPod Touch 1G running standard 3.1.3, I had to follow these steps:

* Downgrade to stock iOS 3.1.2 using: http://www.2shared.com/file/st4IART2/iPod11_312_7D11_Restore.html
* Jailbreak with [ur=http://blackra1n.com/l]blackra1n[/url]
* Install whited00r 6 as originally instructed here: whited00r Tutorial - Installation

iPod Touch 1G Working fine now on whited00r 6, thank you very much!

After successful whited00r installation read those:

whited00r Tutorial - Post Installation Includes setup tool info for enabling/disabling whited00r features.

And thank you in advance for reporting back in this thread.  8)

iPod Touch 1G - USB Communication Problem in DFU
« Reply #4 on: January 30, 2013, 01:35:17 PM »
iPod Touch 1G

I tried upgrading using whited00r but got a restore error.

I did a fresh restore with 3.1.3.

When I try to enter DFU mode, I get a "USB communication problem" in Redsn0w.

I tried different cables, different computers. Same.

Am using a Mac.

Any ideas?

Furthermore, if I try just to restore the iOS6 IPSW from iTunes, it boots and get stuck in the "preparing ipod for restore" mode...

I can't speak to #2 in the previous post, but I had the same usb connection error in redsn0w, and the trick was to get into pwned dfu with the help of iREB. Mine had nothing to do with the ports, so I guess the error comes up in different circumstances.
