...I ve install whited00r 6 on my iphone 3G. But i ve a problem: i go to app market and then on app store. Click on install button, but appstore say me that it is not supported ios 3.1.3, so i can't install nothing apps!! I ve install whited00r 6, so i don't understand this situation.

You are talking about Apple's iTunes > App Store.

The minimum iOS 4.3 requirement is a push by Apple on purpose (see [Rant] below) that excludes the following devices because they have ARMv6 CPU's:

    iPod Touch 1st Gen (max iOS 3.1.3)
    iPod Touch 2nd Gen (max iOS 4.2.1)
    iPhone (max iOS 3.1.3)
    iPhone 3G (max iOS 4.2.1 but it's dog-slow, whited00r based on iOS 3.1.3 is much more fluid with plenty of free RAM to run apps)

Devices that can understand iOS 4.3 instructions sets and apps that requires it:
ARMv7  = iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod 3G/4G/5G, iPad, iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad Mini
ARMv7s = iPhone 5, iPad 4

App Market is a custom app found only in the iOS 3.1.3 based whited00r 6 Custom Firmware > Home. In App Market you can find iTunes App Store but if you swipe you will see Time Machine Store with hundreds of free apps, all compatible with iOS 3.1.3 and also the Cydia Store on the extreme right tab. There are over 1,000 free apps on App Time Machine as of 2013-04-08.

Sorry, it is not possible to install App Time Machine without installing Whited00r 6. If it would be accessible to all the general public, their server would be quickly overwhelmed and would crash promptly.




After finding an app you like, tap on Install and scroll up to tap OK to start downloading & installing automatically the app on your iPhone or iPod Touch.

WhatsApp 2.8.4 Most recent version not requiring iOS 4.3 returns a "Sorry, your version of the app is too old..." error because WhatsApp's server-side checks is blocking older devices @ the present. See WhatsApp "Support" quoted below.

App Time Machine - Help the community and save WhatsApp for old devices

UPDATE 3-Jan-2013: the problem seems partially solved for some WhatsApp v2.8.4 users. It seems that:

1- Who was using v2.8.4 and suddenly was kicked out from the service due to the block => WhatsApp v2.8.4 working again now

2- Who tries to install WhatsApp v2.8.4 on a device that wasn't already activated => still not working because verification code is not sent

Neat trick in Time Machine > Settings > you can turn off Automatic Delete (and/or Automatic Install) and keep a copy of downloaded apps in /var/mobile/Downloads. You can copy or transfer to your computer & later copy it back to the same folder & reinstall them with Time Machine > Downloads tab & tapping on it.

Saved apps have a .zip extension: Facebook-071012123155.ipa.zip. Rename & delete .zip extension & you will have a normal app name.ipa.

FYI guys, the whited00r Team is made entirely of unpaid volunteers and we do not have any millionaire sugar daddy making donations.

The custom whited00r 6 firmware & the awesome App Time Machine are free. The only money we get is peanuts from Adsense. (so give us some peanuts  )

So the budget for servers is small & I know there is a download speed limitation for apps but do not know exactly what it is because the App Time Machine Store is not a part of the WD Team. They are a secretive bunch and never post in our forums.

I just downloaded a game using App Time Machine on my iPhone 3G whited00r 6 using WIFI on a network that has a max download speed of 200 kb/s after reading this thread.

While there is no progress bar (so what?), I could see a change in the download speed & the amount of data downloaded as illustrated in the combined screen captures below.



The app downloaded OK & is running fine. So considering what it cost me for the whole firmware & features shebang, I am pretty happy.

Depending on where you live on the planet, the time of the peak downloading load from the Store varies. So if in your morning time it is slow then try at night or vice versa.

Downloads freezing ... This takes a long time to install any app.

Download Problem - "Cannot decode raw data"?

1- Check your internet connection speed with Speedtest or something else. You are using 3G data or WIFI, right?

2- Try at an other time as the server may be overloaded or under maintenance.

3- Could be a corrupted download, try downloading again.

4- Try downloading an other app.

5- Hard Reset often solve many problems: hold both Home & Power buttons until the Apple logo appears and let go of the buttons & smell the roses while it is doing it's thing. 

No worries, hard reset will not change any of your info, tweaks & apps on the device.

We can discuss it now.   App Time Machine only host apps that are were removed from the iTunes App Store and does not contain any Cydia cracked apps.

Apple could have easily implemented an iOS filter (see [Tutorial] Whited00r 6 How-To Find iOS 3.1.3 iOS 4.1 & 4.2.1 Compatible Apps - iTunes Filter 3.x) and keep older apps versions compatible with Apple devices equipped with the ARMv6 CPU: iPhone 2G & 3G, iPod Touch 1G & 2G. like Facebook, Skype, eBay, etc but decided to drop support for them.

I think that iTunes does not have a simple iOS compatibility filter because they want owners of older devices to get frustrated by trying to find apps only to be told hundreds of times that those apps require iOS 4.3 or newer so to promote sales of newer devices. It's just a mean marketing technique IMO. 

Those apps are not even for sale anymore in iTunes so the developers are not loosing a single penny & it is only fair game to save them & share them for the millions of users who don't want - or can't afford - the newer devices that Apple is pushing.

Also many apps in App Time Machine where free in the first place. There were just deleted from iTunes and replaced by newer versions requiring higher iOS & newer devices.
