iOS 5 Firmware Development and Tweaks
« on: August 30, 2011, 03:32:19 PM »
Ok, so basically i guess we can just thow in links to apps or tweaks made for ios 5 to be included in a iOS 5 firmware for whited00r. I could bundle the firmwares and upload them as i have a mac.

Also would anyone be interested in making an app within the settings application which allows you to select the tweaks you want to install? Its fairly easy and would be a great addition.

I guess we could just throw all the cool tweaks we have in say /var/mobile/whited00r

make an app which moved the debs from /var/mobile/whited00r into  /var/root/Media/Cydia/AutoInstall

simple mv commands and chmod the permissions or something.

I could make this... or well try to but...

Anyone think this is a good idea? It would take up a bit more room on the FW's but I think it would be worth it as some people don't have wifi or cellular data so they cant download all the packages as conveniently as I can or others.

Just an idea but let me know what you think.

Or simply install them as it removes the need to reboot ;)

but, yes, I was thinking of making something like this anyway :)
