I don't know either, it should be working :(  Can you try a maps app from the App Time Machine to see if that can find your location?

Those don't work via wifi only either (put the device in airplane mode and then turn only wifi on)?

dosen't work
I really have no clue then, unless I'm overlooking something really really simple :/  Location services are enabled, correct?  (just triple checking ;) ).

I don't know what is causing this not to work :(   Does it work on stock 3.1.3?

Hello i have tried fix my gps over 2 days but no luck, on original apple firmware it works perfectly ( iPhone1,2_4.2.1_8C148_Restore ), but on wind00r 6 no luck...

I added this to the original post #1 you made:

2013-09-05 PierreP moderator note: If your iPhone 3G is running with > Settings > General > About > Modem Firmware (a.k.a. baseband): 05.15.04 or 05.14.02 and your SIM is working with cellular service then you have a Factory Unlocked device or the original SIM so you do not need to change the Modem Firmware as suggested in this thread!

If your iPhone 3G is Factory Unlocked, you do not have to upgrade/downgrade your Baseband 05.15.04 because the point of this process is to be able to carrier unlock it to be able to use SIM's from any cellular provider. Just follow the instructions here: Whited00r Installation Tutorial and install Whited00r Normal Version.

The native Maps app is using the Location Services to quickly find your approximate location and it is broken in Whited00r 6! :'( But that does not mean that the iPhone 3G GPS chipset feature itself on Whited00r 6 is broken and should work as illustrated here: Whited00r 6 - GPS problem iPhone 3G Baseband 05.13.04, 05.15.04 & 06.15.00

I am really sorry for all the time we made you waste in this thread. :-[

The native Maps app will work on Whited00r 6 but only after you got a GPS satellite fix using one of the apps illustrated above which may take up to 12 minutes the first time you get a fix:
