uh-oh. I tried to set the APN manually. Now I don't have service. Maybe it is bec I use net-10, thru T-Mobile towers?

My dad uses StraightTalk, which uses the T-Mobile towers (I think), but he can't use the T-Mobile APN, because it isn't for his SIM. (Confusing, I know, but he needs the APN for his carrier and SIM).
Try using the net-10 APN then, instead of the T-Mobile one (if your SIM and service is for T-Mobile, even though it uses the T-Mobile towers)
