Nice post :)

Social Networking
1. Whited00r already has this from the Photos app as well as Safari for web sites ;)

2. Same as above ;)

3. Piracy was never the reason it couldn't be pre-installed, it was licensing and copyright due to the way iTunes is even for free apps :(  Even giving credit doesn't make it legal to include in whited00r.

4. Same as above ;)

5. Would require multiple tweaks to make this work, and having activator pre-installed means that even if a user doesn't want this feature, if they disable it, we can't disable activator as well, because they might have another tweak that depends on it :(  We used to have activator preinstalled but removed it to get more speed on the device.

7. There is a whole backend framework in iOS6 where different apps can ask for permission to use this.  Apps would not work like that in 3.1.3 though, as they wouldn't be able to use the API because they weren't coded like that...

Notifications
1. Yeah, this would be nice, but would take a while to develop, and would cause the system to be slower most likely :(

Lockscreen
1. Well, the developer rose from the dead it seems, so we may see more progress in this yet

2. We don't even know if this will be in iOS7 yet, so we won't start developing this. Even if it is in iOS 7, there is no promise we can program it :(

Flat design
Again, we can't work on anything until the first official beta of iOS7, or at least the announcement of the new features with pictures/video and such.

Apps
1. Lightweight apps only are not providing users with choice, as some of the lighter/faster apps don't have all the features or bug fixes ;) Also, users like having the latest versions of stuff as well :)

2. We don't control the App Time Machine, we only are allowed to include it ;)  It is up to them if they want to give us a better app, although I doubt they have the manpower to make something like that, and instead are only web based.

Native features
1. Well, it requires backgrounder for anything to show up sadly, which is why we removed it, because we no longer use backgrounder.

2. We don't have the source, and can't improve folder any :(

Okay  :)

=___= do you really have to quote an entire wall of text and add a single word?

Back on topic: Working Notes.app settings - is it possible? I can totally port the iOS6 "Noteworthy" font to iOS3 if someone can provide me with the file.

I made something like that around the release of iOS4 from apple (or 4.3.3). It ended up crashing the system whenever I swapped a font out. :(  I was only swapping them out with system fonts as well, so nothing too fancy :/  I can't remember if I did it for the notes app though, so I could have a look through my hard drive because I know I have the code somewhere for just the notes fonts.  (and probably the original font swapping program to have another look...).

All that being said, it is probably much easier to just make a tweak to switch out the fonts...

WhiteD00r + Archetype
Well, Archetype is not meant to replace whited00r, and never will be. It is more meant to show what whited00r (and more) could do, hence the name Archetype ;)

WhiteD00r + Facebook
Not every user has facebook ;)  I do, but I don't install it on my iPhone :P  This would require a lot of work we don't have, and it isn't going to be in iOS7 anyway (at least not that anyone has heard of), so whited00r would have no need to make it as the goal of whited00r is speed (which this would not give, it would take it away), and to replicate the look and feel of the current iOS version (which this tweak wouldn't do either ;) )

Well, if you ever get to that and actually get a hold of the Noteworthy.ttf you know who to call ^^

Even if it's all possible, your device will be laggy as hell. Buy new iPhone.

The iPhone 2G does not and will not ever support iOS4
I get on every now and then to check up
Go ahead and download Whited00r 8 BETA if you haven't yet: http://goo.gl/AFZIUT <------
