Dear Bereyton...
You must first do what Cydia requested like respring or reboot after installing package(s), or you must not be in package information page...

Dear Imyogu...
You cannot close your phone anyway! Becouse you use Phone in anytime! Did you see iPod multitasking menu? Is it have something like Phone? No! Becouse iPod do not use simcard! Anytime you can get sms or incoming call becouse you use simcard on your iPHONE and Phone always is running!

Would we still recieve calls if we close the Phone icon from the multitasking menu or should it continue to run as it would with Messages, Mail, etc?

Phone just restarts itself, if you disable it you still get calls but it runs slower and you won't see missed calls and voicemail

dear friend...

PHONE restart irtself anytime you disable it, test that! disable that in your multitasking menu and close the menu, and reopen the menu, what do so see?
the multitasking that the frimware put in your iPHONE is like SBSetting multitasking if you see that..!

yeah the 4.2 vr. is very usefull!!! I love that!
but if you have problem with the Cydia, I mean 'Database Error' you must restore your iPHONE and install Cydia 1.0.30.44-65 vr. with iPHONE PC Suite! and use it...  8-)

The battery drain is caused by the MMS enabled in V4.1 4.2 doesn't have that and is much better.

And you can keep the phone.app from restarting if you disable it's multitasking, but that's pointless.

I didn't try it and I have and it makes sense that it would restart itself along with the mail application.
This is quite obvious and I don't know why I asked this question.

Um, i'm not sure why my post didn't come through.. lol? but I was saying yes the phone restarts itself, but you can disable it from restarting through the backgrounder app, but it's pointless.

You can disable your mail application and use that when you need!
Jus' go to Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calender>Acounts and deactive your mail acount
After doing that, disable mail in multitasking menu, that will close until you active your mail acount in Settings! Enjoy it...!

Lol, that's strange.  My weather app is in Fahrenheit, but I know you can manually pick the choice.
