Well, first off... 4.2 is the fastest for me and most of the other forum members agree, if you really want FAST, then go install 4.2 Lite, it's crazy fast.  To turn off wallpaper in V4.2 go to Wallpaper, advanced, and turn Simple Background to off.

Thanks, did not notice the advance button before. that does help to disable homescreen wall papers. Too late, already made a short video on 4.2 but might re make it now that I know about that.

Where is the Activator and Backgrounder hidden now? Use to be in settings/general/customize.

Cydia should work.. but iFile is bugged.  Just open up iFile and hold down the home button until backgrounding disables

ifile and cydia both close when I open them again and hold the home button to disable. Everything has smoothed out and working as it should.

Is 4.2 any better than 4.1..i am quite happy with 4.1, dont hav any issues lately except the Folders Vs SBSettings Conflict  :mrgreen: ...i dont think i will upgrade to 4.2

okay, tested a lot last night.
4,2 lite nomms - on iphone 2g 2007.
1. faster. a whole lot faster. i'm amazed.
2. no change in folders bugs. -2 is still there, a folders break, it crashes etc. was okay when i did -1.
3. faster, again.
4. tethering works, push works with my certs, youtube works just fine with WD certs.
5. synced all apps with no problems at all
6. i miss the wallpaper, any way to get it back in lite?

Can I add to the changelog requests?

Obvious questions:
Has it got newer folders?
How/Why is tethering related to MMS?
Why would something as simple as MMS have any effect on battery?
As you've got an older Backgrounder to remove dependencies, what happens if we upgrade it? What will break?

- no.. but darlo is developing new folders
- Same CommCenter patch. Thsi patch should be the best: http://bbs.weiphone.com/read-htm-tid-792350.html
- CommCenter patch could cause battery drain because this si not a native features (not simple as editing a .plist boolean value)
- nothing. But insalling new backgrounder will install Activator and Preference Loader too (2 extra MobileSusbtrate addon.. consider that curently whited00r full uses only 4 MobileSubstrate addons, a a 50% is a lot!!)

hey, I've feedback for your new firmware
the minimise button in the multitasking dock sucks and how  I do change to automatic backgrounding?
And I just can have 6 folders. If I exceed this number of folders remain fodlers will disappear...

anyway is your firmware great =)
