Can I add to the changelog requests?

Obvious questions:
Has it got newer folders?
How/Why is tethering related to MMS?
Why would something as simple as MMS have any effect on battery?
As you've got an older Backgrounder to remove dependencies, what happens if we upgrade it? What will break?

anyway:
- no.. but darlo is developing new folders
- Same CommCenter patch. Thsi patch should be the best: http://bbs.weiphone.com/read-htm-tid-792350.html
- CommCenter patch could cause battery drain because this si not a native features (not simple as editing a .plist boolean value)
- nothing. But insalling new backgrounder will install Activator and Preference Loader too (2 extra MobileSusbtrate addon.. consider that curently whited00r full uses only 4 MobileSubstrate addons, a a 50% is a lot!!)

OK, great, thanks. I followed that link and look forward to trying MMS out.

Hoping that patch is better than the old Native MMS patch for 3.1.2 which absolutely canes battery life according to this link: http://www.thebuzzmedia.com/native-mms- ... tery-life/

iPhone 2G MMS will kill battery life more or less

I have manual backgrounding on 4.2 full.  The whited00r repo has auto backgrounding, look there

i dont know which one of them it is, can you specify the name?

or it might just be easier to let me know which version of backgrounder to install...

The package says "auto multitasking" I think it will work but I haven't tested it.

oh i just went and restored with the full version to get the multitasking instead. seemed easier that way. but after the first restore, i encountered a problem after awhile of usage. upon one of the installations in cydia, the phone rebooted and when i went back to cydia again, everything was missing in it. in packages, there was nothing, in sources there was nothing. I had this problem before with v 4.1 of whited00r, and i am not sure why it happens. the only fix is to restore as well, i tried reinstalling cydia and all other solutions in google and in other iphone forums, but none worked.

I only wanted to say that iPhone 3G 4.2 Full works like a charm and is very very fast. Even with 5 Icon Dock, Reflective Dock, Haptic Pro and Lock Info =) Thank you!

the new multitasking doesn't use Activator, so it is normal that it is not listed.
Try installing the Activator release of Darlo (see the iOS3 Multitasking in this forum)

Lite has only folders, Full has folders, wallpaper, and multitasking.  They are both fast ;)

iPod Touch 1G v4.2 Lite link still doesn't work :( :(

Btw, v4.2 Lite on iPhone 2G is super smooth but I don't seem to get the wifi switch(should be built-in?) and rotation lock(from cydia WD repo) to work.

Anyways a nice step forward from v4.1. Keep up the good work!

if you need rotation lock consider full edition (it is included in multitasking dock), removing manually the HomeScreen substrate if you don't need it.

WiFi fast toggle on status bar has been removed (no Activator anymore.. faster..)
