Welcome to the forums :)

As itechy21 said, it is in the rules here to never ask for a release date, or any progress reports of any kind, because we never know ;)  Anything could happen between when we announce something and when it is supposed to be released.

sorry for being a bit rude.
but so many people are going to ask and it kindof makes me peeved that people don't read the rules before posting

My question is not when WD7 will come but IF it will come.
My father owns an iPhone 3g and the multitasking from WD6 rarely functions on it(it has no multitasking even though I activated it in Terminal).
Will an update to the whited00r firmware come? and if so, will it fix the multitasking?
Thankfully, Alongg4 , iPhone 4 and Hero h2000+(iPhone 5 clone) owner and android ROM developer.(I created an ICS ROM that looks exactly like iOS 6 for the iPhone 5 clone-if you want to see it go to http://www.needrom.com/mobile/hero-h2000-3/).
iPhone 3G,4,Hero h2000+(iphone 5 clone) owner and android ROM developer.
my PC is windows 8 with Mac(10.7),Ubuntu and windows 7 in vmware.

Welcome to the forums :)

The multitasking is not actually multitasking in whited00r 6, but rather a list of recently opened apps ;)

Oh, that explains it.
In Redd00r I got real multitasking after turning opengles-1 to opengles-2.
Is it possible to get real multitasking in iOS 3.1.3 or should I just use the slow Redd00r to get it?

P.S My knowledge on iOS is not even close to what you know but I can do some UNIX commands, simple apps and some designs.
If there is any way in which I could assist the Whited00r staff I would be happy to do it.
Thank you.

You can get it back by following these steps taken from the Whited00r 6 - FAQ & Troubleshooting - READ BEFORE POSTING!:

Quote
1- Using Terminal > setup, disable FastAppSwitching & VoiceControl (Sara a.k.a. Siri)
2- Follow this tutorial to avoid the settings app crashing: [Solved] PreferenceLoader 2.2.0-1 update causes Settings app crash
3- Search for Backgrounder in Cydia & install it. If Cydia ask you to Respring, don't do it! Just tap the Home button to close Cydia and in Whited00r 6 you can find a Respring switch in > Settings > General > and scroll to the bottom of the tab.
4- Add our repo for Whited00r and Redd00r users in Cydia/Sources and install iOS 3 Multitasking from our Repod00r Repo.

5- Turn off the iPhone, wait a couple of seconds and turn back on.

Also, the offer for help is very appreciated :)   I will keep that in mind :)

Re: When will whited00r 7 come? iOS 7 Beta

My question is not when WD7 will come but IF it will come...

Welcome to the Whited00r forum!  8)

Yes WD 7 will come but iOS 7 Beta for developers just came out so give us a chance to study it a bit and see what can be included in the next Whited00r 7 version taking into account that our old devices (iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G, iPod Touch 1G and iPod Touch 2G) have limited RAM, CPU & GPU.

More info about those hardware limitations in the sticky (it means a thread pinned at the top of the forum list) Whited00r 6 - FAQ & Troubleshooting - READ BEFORE POSTING!

FYI, in the official Apple iOS 7 page it says "iOS 7. Coming this fall" but I can assure you that Whited00r 7 will be out much sooner but we cannot say exactly when yet as it is a work in progress with many coding & graphics challenges for our small team of volunteers + it needs to be beta tested thoroughly before releasing it.  ;)

This is just a teaser and not the official WD 7 logo as we are working on it:

I think that the best what they could do is, if WhiteD00r has finished the biggest part of the firmware, that they put it on 11-12-13 14:15 as release date, like last year at 12-12-12. I don't say that it has to be. But it is a suggestion.  ;)

We don't give release dates until literally everything is ready ;)  That includes documentation and new tutorials too. So, we don't even know the release date yet  ;D
