Archetype thread OLD
« on: December 03, 2012, 02:54:08 PM »
THIS IS THE OLD THREAD
This includes long discussions of old bugs and people asking over and over again how to fix common issues. So, please go over to the new thread:
Archetype - A custom firmware package for every iOS and device and post there. Please do not ask any questions without first reading the ENTIRE first post there as I have documented the known issues and how to fix them or workarounds for the time being until I can update it.

This old chain of comments is here merely for documentation and history I suppose.

Everything else works aside from that though.

Ehh… Bad working on my iPhone 3G 4.2.1. Icons flew above the dock, nothing seemed to work faster, uninstalled my favorite iOS6 Preferences… due to conflict with Springotimize, ApplePie NC or Activator maybe… I don't know. Uninstalling it right now :(

The icons is a known bug, it is something in the theme (working on that). The iOS6 preferences (if by me) are included.  Shouldn't conflict with springtomize O.o or any of those really :O

The design of the settings app layout?  That's one of the things I want to improve :)
At least it can be uninstalled though :)  (unlike other programs over at bl4ck0ut... :P )

iOS 6 support and a super optimization script that strips down iOS 6 to the basics. That's what this needs. You know? Like a script which does the work or cuc, removelanguages and ....hell idk. Remove many stuffs!

iOS6 support is easy enough.  I'm adding stuff to the optimizer script a lot when I think of how to impliment stuff :) it currently can remove languages except English and Japanese. (working on a GUI for choosing which languages to keep, but that's a while away).  What does cuc do? Like specifically ;)

ApplePie's NC is just NGrip + Notifed. :)

Is this possible to incorporate some kind of status bar into your apps based on Ch40s?
