So i uninstalled a bunch of junk to free up some space like siri port and stuff then when cydia required me to reboot device i did...but it keeps rebooting over and over and over i cant get to the main screen...

I have tried about everything from redsn0w and ireb pwned dfu to putting it into regular dfu mode to tiny umbrella recovery mode...

The error code is 1602. i cant access the filesystem even if it connects for a minute because even ifunbox requires my idevice to be paired with itunes and itunes needs me to enter a passcode to pair it or restore but i cant because i cant get to the passcode screen.

Sorry if im kinda unclear i just dont have alotta time right now....Any ideas?

Amateur Dev - Archive / D00rStore 0.1a (built from scratch)
« on: July 14, 2012, 12:16:15 AM »
It's finally here! D00rStore for Whited00r/ Redd00r!

Things to Keep in Mind:
  • This is ALPHA! It's not even capable of installing IPA's yet (you will have to use Safari and Installous) and it is bug filled :(
  • I've worked with SRH Apps on this and it is built from scratch coded using HTML
  • I don't think this will work on any iOS below 4.2.1 but  I'm not sure. As I only have an iPod Touch 4G.

It's too bad that Apple dropped support for legacy iDevices like iTouch 1G and 2G or first and second iPhone.
Even worst is when Apple forces us to buying new iPods or iPhones by disallowing us downloading apps from AppStore. If Apple won't care… Then who care?

They spend a lot of time creating custom iOS based on 3.1.3 and 4.2.1.

Now, we have made a better alternative for WhiteD00r and RedD00r users.
It's called D00rStore. It's easy to use app installer with apps which works on specific systems and are tested and hopefully bugfree But not yet capable of IPA installation :(.

To Do:
  • Add a Navigation bar
  • Make it so "Visit the Store" button opens in the same app (not Safari)
  • Add a installer function
  • Change "Visit the Store" link to direct to 4store ipa box (once i get the invite)
  • Better GUI?
  • Add Retina Icon

Please report bugs and suggestions below. Feedback Helps!

If you are experienced with HTML, PM Me! I need some help.

SRH APPS ~ Made an app coded in HTML possible
CoolBreeze ~ Created the GUI and main.html file
Kosiak ~ General idea of 4Store and Collection of IPA's
iOSCrackandHack ~ Spent a lot of time describing and testing apps!

Tech Talks / Display Recorder Hits AppStore
« on: June 25, 2012, 04:42:54 AM »
You’ll wanna act on this one right now. Display Recorder, an app by Bugun Software which lets you record your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad screen in real time, has just hit the App Store, priced at two bucks a pop (not to be confused with Ryan Petrich’s app of the same name available for jailbroken devices). If I were you, I’d act now: Apple’s likely to pull Display Recorder at a moment’s notice…

UPDATE: Developer Ryan Petrich just tweeted that he filed a complaint over Bugun Software stealing his app’s name.

As noted by JBN, the app bests Petrich’s Cydia app in that it can simultaneously record audio from the iPhone’s microphone and merge it with the recorded video.

Secondly, the app records in a format that is instantly available to view on your device unlike the package from Cydia.

It also uses little resources and doesn’t limit you in terms of the video length.

Here’s your quick video tour, courtesy of JBN.

The app is provided as a universal binary that supports both the iPhone and iPad natively. According to iTunes release notes, if you’re having issues capturing screencasts, just change your Region Format in Settings to United States.

We suspect this app somehow escaped the attention of Apple’s eagle-eyed censors so you’re advised to grab it now. As you know, Apple prohibits apps that mimic the native iOS functionality.

It would appear that Display Recorder simply takes screenshots and stitches them together into a clip, though the developer notes that the program utilizes hardware-accelerated video encoding.

Other features include on-device YouTube uploading, adjustable video orientation, quality and audio settings and the ability to export recorded video to your image library.

How To's - Archive / [NO UDID] Activate and Install iOS 6 Beta
« on: June 24, 2012, 02:41:18 PM »

1. If you're running iOS 5.1.1, simply go into iTunes and SHIFT+RESTORE to iOS 6. If you're running any firmware below iOS 5.1.1, put your device in PWNED DFU MODE with redsn0w first, then SHIFT+RESTORE

2. Once your device is successfully restored, DO NOT SETUP! Close iTunes, Open redsn0w and go through the jailbreak process.

3. Now once your device has rebooted, open i-Funbox.

4. Click on Raw File System and navigate to /System/Library/Core Services/SystemVersion.plist and drag that file to your Desktop.

5. Open the SystemVersion.plist file that you have dragged to your Desktop and find where it says

and delete those two lines and save. (Im not exactly sure if thats what it says because i already did it but it should be something like that :P)

6. Drag the edited SystemVersion.plist back into /System/Library/Core Services/ and it should overwrite the original.

7. Now shut off your device and boot tethered with redsn0w and you have your activated, bug filled iOS 6 on your device!

I need a name for a website about cydia app tweak reviews, jailbreaking etc.

Since whited00r has a smooth running blog already, i was hoping we could get some bloggers from here for our site. If you would like to become a blogger for our site (, just pm me or reply to this topic.

The blog will be about iDevices. Jailbreaking, New AppStore apps, New cydia apps, best themes for dreamboard, etc.

« on: March 21, 2012, 10:32:15 PM »
This seemed to be a feature some people missed when it waa removed from whited00r, so i decided to make one for you to use! This simply resprings your iDevice the moment you tap on the icon. Disguised as the Compass app on your Springboard.

Amateur Dev - Archive / 3store
« on: March 10, 2012, 11:21:10 PM »

I've been working on this but I haven't been able to login for a while.

If you don't know what 3store is already, read below.

3store is a simple .ipa installer (modified version of install0us) that let's you install apps that recently dropped support for iOS3 on the appstore from here:

  • Download the .deb file at top of post.
  • SSH into your device through iFile or an SSH Manager (ex. iFunbox, WinSCP, etc.)
  • Place "3store.deb" in /User
  • Click on the .deb file and choose installer in iFile.
  • Respring and enjoy!
Changelog in 1.1:
  • Removed all other foreign lang. packs
  • New revamped icon
  • Small changes to Info.plist
  • Edited and renamed com.coolbreeze.3store document

On 5.0.1 on my iPod touch 4G after a clean restore to stock firmware, and jailbreak with redsn0w, the software update tab in settings is missing!
