Yo guys and guyettes!
Well, i stumbled upon wd by accident, and since I'm here, well lets write sumthin.
So, there's no point in writing this, since haven't been on forums in a while...
Well, i'm leaving xD
I'm not even using wd anymore on my 2g. Back to stock fw, and anyways, will soon upgrade to 4S(teve).
Got an iPad, and instantly changed my philosophy to: apple didn't give us multitask and folders - for a reason.
Furthermore, i think that there is no more point in working on wd~ios5, for anyone. iOS5 is all about iCloud and voice. Two things we can never do.
Also, on the account of WD4 (folders and multitask), i think we were spread too thin.
We had two guys working on WD, and no one else contributing.
We had two things to cover and make faster and better, and we were concerned about whatsapp and debs on cydia repo.
We had huge amount of bugs, and we were all concerned about what color our folders will be.
We had battery drainage, and we were concerned about over clocking our devices.
"Spread too thin" is not, and never will be a successful philosophy.
But still, WD is a place that thought me that we can do anything with our devices, and thought me a lot about jailbreaking, installing android, fixing our devices and so on.
One day, i installed WD, and was confused by how the hell can people make their own firmware. I didn't know any coding, so only thing i had to offer was my web knowledge. My work in re theming and changing our forum platform (yes, it's bad) inspired me to continue working with web development, running around and asking people how can i help and what can i do. I worked on few more websites for free (including Serbian Macintosh User Group~not yet live), and so i gathered contacts and got to know people.
Now, not only i have a few huge payed projects on the way, but i even got a job in the local apple store.
Combine my new job with my faculty year starting, and the result is = no time for wd.
Overall, i would like to thank Matt, Bcoop and Darlo for making this great project possible.
Gawern and Phil for keeping me entertained on chat for many nights and fixing my iPhone a 100 times.
Ninja and Justin for keeping forums clean, and doing my job xD
I'll come and check on you sometimes, but i doubt i'll post anything.
Also, i removed my admin rank, since it's no use for me or anyone else anymore.
