i see all talking about preserving baseband/upgrading baseband..
i searched about baseband and found some things,but what if i upgrade my baseband?
will my iphone will work like it was before?will it detect my sim card?[not at&t]
upgrading will increase quality of antenaa?it will increse the network catching quality of it?
can any1 explain me this?
my baseband is 04.05.04_G... should i upgrade it??[i put a vodafone sim in my iphone and see that it has no network in a corner of my house,and same simcard i put into HTC phone and it has full network in that corner,is this because of old baseband version?so should i upgrade it?]

Well tried to download MobileNotifier and Notified Pro but both aren't compatible with iOS 3. Maybe we should try to port it

Yes,both not compatible,and apple also used lockinfo,for lockscreen info..

Hello guys,
My name is Shubham Rajdhar.
I am from India.
I am 18 and i got my iPhone 2G [2nd hand not new] in Nov 2009.
I won't get other phone till more 2-3 years,because here in India,iphone is much costly[my dad earns Rs.35000 in a month and a new iphone 2g is about Rs.25000].
I rarely see iphone in my city [most people get amzed to see my iphone
I am a student [not doing any job yet].
I like to play cricket,football,pc [endless online,fallen evolution] + iphone games[mostly MMORPGs/RPGs].
I always like to help people,and i'll try my best to help people here.

Bug Reports - Archive / App crashes??

Hey,
when i restore phone,i install app,and app works good for some time,but idk how next time i open the app,it crashes,like whn i open it,it goes off and im on my homescreen.

Apps = icy 1.4.1,bootlace,swapmode

Bootlace and swapmode work in safe mode too,so it looks like some mobilesubstrate cause it,right??

Archives / WDFREEMEM - cant install

Hello,
when i try to install WDFREEMEM ,it says cant overwrite the file,coz it exist in user/library/sbsetting/commands.
Is there any safe way to install it?
[and is it worth installing?i mean is it good?]
And one more thing,
user/library/Sbsetting contains two images
1. arrow.png
2. respring.png

if i dont use arrow,then is it safe to delete it?
and can we delete Respring.png?
when we resprng from sbsetting the image comes 1st,then it resprings [it is SLOWER],
then if i delete,will there be any problem in respring?or it will just become faster?

Manier times,iphone gets me into Respring loop [my mistakes]
but,i have some debs in my PC,i try to put em into autoinstall folder,and reboot,then it takes me again in respring loop,so is there something i need to install before i put them into autoinstall folder so they get installed correctly?

How to get new wintersled themes?
And if i want put a theme [downloaded from MEDIA section] in Library/themes , there is no Folder theme in library..Should i make new folder?
And can i download winterboard themes so that i could use em on Wintersled?
If no them where to get new themes for UI or folders?

i have seen on most sites that EDITING the private/etc/FSTAB file overclocks iphone,some say its true,some say its foolishness..
what are your opinions on this guys?
