In progress is a hack to run Siri on the A4 chipset. (a.k.a the iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4G and the iPad). Although at the moment it is only confirmed running on the iPhone 4.

Archives / Re: What would I need to learn?
« on: September 17, 2011, 02:00:20 AM »
I'm not much a developer... but I have started and have just been delayed for school/personal reasons.

I have only been learning Shell Scripting (Bourne Shell) << Easier than Xcode I think? Maybe?)

Anyhow.... I have multiple computers in my house I use to develop Shell Scripts. Most of them are Windows 7 and a couple are Windows XP.

I personally use Oracle Virtual Box. I use the Ubuntu ISO file to run Ubuntu within the machine where I just use the Text Editor to create my scripts.

But since you are looking for Xcode.... You may want to try finding a MAC OS X ISO file (Somewhere... I haven't found one besides a torrent which I hate) and running the MAC OS X ISO file within Virtual Box. Good Luck.

Tech Talks / Lebendig - Animate Windows
« on: September 08, 2011, 04:20:32 AM »
Hey, there is a program I use to help tweak the animation of windows minimizing and maximizing. It worked for a while (on my other computer) and all of sudden it stopped one day.

Now that I got a new computer I tried it again and the .exe launches but nothing comes up.

Will someone else download it and run the EXE (I'm on Windows XP, Professional, Version 2002; Service Pack 3).

Download it from this website:http://sites.google.com/site/devrexster/

P.S It's 100% safe. I just ran AVG and Malwarebytes on it and I can confirm that it isn't a virus. (Plus I've used it before)

My camera roll went all black all of a sudden. Not sure why. Either way, I SSH'd into it and accidentally deleted some important files.

Someone please got o "/private/var/media/DCIM/100Apple" and give me all the data files. (Not images).

Tech Talks / Prevent iTunes from Optimizing Photos
« on: August 14, 2011, 08:50:02 AM »
Hmm... anyone know how to get iTunes to STOP optimizing my photos? It will take a nice, crisp and clear photo (for example, 1000x1000 pixels ) and optimize it to 320x480 (iPhone Screen Resolution). Then my photo's look all fuzzy. OR anyone know of a good program to add/copy/remove photos from your iPhone/iPodTouch?

Archives / Re: Lock Info iOS 5.x Theme Script
« on: August 07, 2011, 01:50:54 AM »
OKAY.... This should do it. Some one please try it now. I edited and uploaded it with UBUNTU.

I'm gonna be gone for about a day and will be back tomorrow night. IF Anyone has any issues with my iOS5LockInfo script please text me at (503)7084493.

Or ask Brian Cooper. He'd probably be able to fix my script. ;)

I have taken the liberty to create a script to put all the Lock Info iOS 5 Theme Images in the right places. So now all you need to do, is download the iOS 5 theme file, and the script. Place them in your iPhone File System and run the script. After that, you will then have to go into Settings>LockInfo and apply the theme. =D Hope you enjoy!!

iOS 5 Lock Info Script:http://www.mediafire.com/?cifmncivjkzcusj

or

iOS 5.x LockInfo Script Deb:http://www.mediafire.com/?goh2dna194xnf11

UPDATE

Add the Cydia Repo: cydia.ragingninja.bplaced.net

Then, install iOS 5 LockInfo

Instructions

1. Unzip the iOS5LockInfo file

SSH into your iDevice (Doesn't matter which SSH Client you use)

2. Place the "iOS5LockInfo" file in "/Library"

3. Place the "iOS5LockInfo.sh" in "/var/mobile" and give "0755" permissions. (OR Open Mobile Terminal, login as root and type "chmod +x iOS5LockInfo.sh"

4. Open Mobile Terminal and Login as root (If you haven't already, and make sure you give "0755" permissions) then type "./iOS5LockInfo.sh"

Update
- With the actual script, there is no need to manually apply the theme yourself. The script will do it for you! Enjoy! (The script and files are now packaged into a .deb file, no need to manually put the files in the correct places). Just put the .deb in "/var/mobile" and give "0755" permissions.

Please watch THIS  video to learn how to apply the theme in Settings.

The script should run perfectly. Enjoy!!
