How To's - Archive / Restore to iOS 4.2.1

I have been running whited00r 4.3 full on my iPhone 3g for a while now and really like it.  However, I get bored quickly and wanted to restore my device to iOS 4.2.1 to play around with a few things.  But I keep getting "error 1611" each time.  I have tried putting the phone in DFU and using iREB.  Still no luck.  Has anyone else experienced this or have a solution for this?  Thank you and I look forward to reading any responses.
