Hi, thanks for your support.
My first app was a Camera App for 3.1.3 (I can provide source code if you want).
There are a few thinks that you should know:
- IMPORTANT: be sure to use 3.1.3 APIs. If you use SDK for iOS4, it will not work for whited00r. They changed a lot about Camera.
- We must find a way to copy the exaclt behavior of official camera app (save photo directly to camera roll, show camera roll library as the native one, add a button to shot photo without using the one included in iOS3 frame - "use"/"cancel")
- Video recording will be possible but quality could not be good as Cycorder, but it will be cool

Suggestions for Next Whited00r - Archive / Re: LESS AFK

Tapatalk if free to install on the forum (free pack), but the app on devices is not free (so users should pay for this -> absolutely not good).
What is more, most of Whited00r forum visitors are Guest, so they will not use app to access to it: a mobile theme for all devices is better to provide a fast view to all visitors, even if I know that Tapatalk is better.
Current mobile theme is really cheap (20$ for the theme + 1 year support and soon there is a main release from the developer).
I'm monitoring visits to the forum with google analytics: they are good (a bit better then before -excluding January/February- when we had the "great boom" -> all blogs wrote about us), and I'm not including visit when mobile them is active (I'll put Analytics code on it soon).
So, generally things are going well.. a bit of reorganization was necessary. I know that you could not like some choice.. but please don't feel down. I can bet that when Whited00r 5.2 will be out and we will start to provide initial beta release of Redd00r we will shine again!

About Compass :
objc developers could build a "real" compass app for iPhone 3G users. Of couse without the hardware compass it will not really interesting, but using GPS nord could be get with a short walk in open air..

Amateur Dev - Archive / Re: iMessages mac!!!!
« on: March 20, 2012, 12:45:37 AM »
I had an idea to port iMessage on whited00r, let me know if it is possible (MacOS developers).

Needed: a macos server running iMessage for Mac (Lion or Mountain Lion), with an account that we could call  for example [email protected]

whited00r user -> friend with iMessage

Whited00r user side: build an iOS app similar to iMessage (ask for imessage address of you friend and text) that sends mail instead of normal messages to [email protected] with a established format (addressee and text)

Server side: need to build an app that receives all mails ([email protected]) and parse addressee and text from them, and forward the text via real iMessage app for Mac by Apple.

friend with iMessage -> whited00r user
We will find a solution
