A guide for restores to Whited00r based 3.1.3

1-Introduction
This guide will give a explanation upon restore to whited00r firmwares from stock Apple firmwares. This guide also can use it as a Downgrade Guide from iOS 4.2.1 to Whited00r 4.3.1 as well.
 This guide will minimize future same question will being ask again, as well as spam.


2 - Restore to Whited00r iOS 3
Let start from the Whited00r iOS3...

THINGS requirement: an iDevice, Stock Apple 3.1.2 firmwares, Blackra1n, RecBoot, Whited00r custom firmware

*One more thing  before start, if you currently using whited00r firmware already, just restore with another whited00r  firmware will be OK... This section is for those are those people wish to switch from Apple to Whited00r...

*This Guide is tested on iPod Touch 1G, iPod Touch 2G, iPhone 2G & iPhone 3G.

*This guide is also tested on iPhone 3G & iPod Touch 2G with iOS 4.X.

2.1) Restore by pressing "SHIFT + RESTORE" your iDevice with Stock 3.1.2. (NOT 3.1.3). After iTune finish restored, an error code 1015 should prompt out & your device is in recovery mode.

2.2) Prepare RecBoot, launch it. Select "Exit Recovery Mode", now your devices is KICKED from recovery mode.

2.3) Close your iTunes, prepare your Blackra1n, don't launch it first else you get error. Copy "Blackra1n.exe" to

X86 Windows Path

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support\
X64 Windows Path

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support\
(Not sure how Macs, I didn't have a Mac...)
After copy, launch it & click "Make it ra1n"...Your Devices screen will appear GeoHot the Handsome one... This process take 5 minutes long, having a cup of tea is just nice .....your device now is jailbreaked...

2.4) Now, relaunch iTunes, restore to Whited00r custom firmware... Whited00r firmware can be found under "Downloads" Section.

Congratulations! You have successfully bring a new life on your iDevices... Feel happy with your device now!

1-Introduction

2 - Restore to Whited00r iOS 3
Let start from the Whited00r iOS3...

Helllo guys, how to restore to Whited00r iOS4 firmwares?

I try upgrade to official Apple iOS 4.2.1 then restore with Whiterd00r 4.2.1.... But fail.
I try Official iOS4.2.1 + DFU, I get error 1600
I try Official iOS4.2.1 + Jailbreak, I get error 1604
I try Official iOS4.2.1 then flash with WD, I get error 1603
I try Official iOS4.2.1 + Jalbreak + DFU, I get error 1600, too...

How you guys restore?

I'm Sniper&Assaulter... I successfully login with resend forgot password feature...

My login name suppose to be
"Sniper&Assaulter" but I get invalid user name...

So I try this one...
"Sniperamp;Assaulter" then success...

As you can see "&" = "amp;"...
But I don't wish everytime login with type the amp;...

This new forum cannot accept special characters on login?
